The project targets national and local institutions working in education, formal and informal educational agents in the field of civic education, sociology, human rights, civil society and social science.
The project targets national and local institutions working in education, formal and informal educational agents in the field of civic education, sociology, human rights, civil society and social science. Countering violence and discrimination based on gender and sexual identity through film and media literacy. Specifically, the action will target Upper High schools and teachers.
– Film Screenings for Youth through Film Selection, Film Rights Securing;
– Awareness Raising and Promotion through Usage of New Technologies in Promotion, Film screenings on Gender equality for students and parents followed by facilitated discussions;
– Multimedia Education through teacher Manual Development and its Implementation, Manual Publication and Dissemination;
– Ensuring Sustainability and Further Promotion through Film Screenings, Development of Film, Training of Trainers and Local stories inclusion.

DokuFest’s educational department DokuLab manages the FilmProduction Centre for Youth and empowers teachers in use of audiovisual tools in classroom in conjunction with traditional methods for deeper understanding of complex issues and promotion of social development of youth.
