A catalogue of all films produced through DokuFest's Film Production Lab since 2013. The Film Production Lab is a training program that fosters creative documentary filmmaking through practical exercises in storytelling, while familiarising young people with the concept of active citizenship, human rights and democratic values. This program guides and encourages young people to take action and be active agents for social change through storytelling and filmmaking. Future is Here

Our ‘Future is Here’ Film school brings every year around 15 young people from high schools to work and create original films on social and human rights-oriented topics, which creates a multidimensional approach that provides younger generations with tools for empowerment by means of encouraging self-expression. Through these programs’ youth are offered the floor to debate on various social issues of their immediate concern, engaging them in intercultural dialogue on identity, human rights, gender equality, climate change, culture and so on.

Regional Film School Active

Human Rights Film Factory

6 Stories From the Kosovo Margins by emerging filmmakers from Kosovo and the Region. The program is funded by EU and managed by European Union Office in Kosovo.

Collaborative projects of youth from Switzerland, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina. A project by Swiss Youth Film Festival & Documentary Film Festival, Dokufest, KREF Filmski Festival in Serbia, Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in Bosnia &Herzegovina.

Rec'On the Future

6 films produced through a collaborative program co-funded by Erasmus+ programme (European Commission) and Conseil RÈgional PACA in partnership
with Pistes Solidaires Mediterranee and DokuFest.

Human Interest Video Documentaries

14 Films

14 short human interest video documentaries for youth by youth. Funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Advocacy Training and Resource Center (ATRC).

DokuLab

DokuFest’s educational department DokuLab manages the FilmProduction Centre for Youth and empowers teachers in use of audiovisual tools in classroom in conjunction with traditional methods for deeper understanding of complex issues and promotion of social development of youth.
