The Film Club of High School "Xhavit Ahmeti" in Gjilan, English language teacher Kujtesa Salihu Keka along with her students screened the film "A Married Couple" as a part of the "Film Night" activity. The topic of discussion after the screening of the film was "Ethics in Documentary Filmmaking", where the school student Edin Rama and participant of the ninth generation of the documentary film school FUTURE IS HERE, shared the knowledge he gained with other students, during his participation at the film school. The students also discussed the topic of the film in terms of the difficulties of living together, challenges and rights of the couples, how it would be better to act in marriage in certain cases, etc. Every Friday through the Film Club, students screen documentaries on various topics that challenge them mostly. This activity is a result of long lasting collaboration of DokuFest with Public Schools in Kosova, following the workshops on use of film in the classroom, a project initiated by DokuFest supported by the ‘Civil Society programme for Albania and Kosovo’, financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with Partners Albania for Change and Development (PA) and through project 'School & Documentary' supported by National Endowment for Democracy.

"Educational films serve as key tools to inspire change and promote intercultural dialogue in schools. They offer a unique opportunity for students to develop critical thinking skills, increase awareness about social and cultural issues, and encourage a more open and inclusive approach to learning. Through their powerful themes and impactful narratives, these educational films are rich resources that support innovative teaching and contribute to building a more informed, conscious, and democratic society."
