This project, in partnership with UNICEF, aims to empower approximately 250 students from 11 municipalities through storytelling, photography, and cinematography.
DIGITAL FILM INNOVATION AND CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION
DokuFest, Kosovo’s leading platform for documentary and short films, is proud to announce the launch of its latest initiative, Digital Film Innovation and Cultural Transformation (D:Fict) Project. This project implemented in cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is set to empower the next generation of digital storytellers and filmmakers. The Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren is a hub for collaboration between local and international companies, vocational training programs, academic institutions, government agencies, NGOs, as well as a space for cultural and artistic activities
CREATIVE FORCE
The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and DokuFest are pleased to announce the continuation of their longstanding partnership through a new grant agreement for the Creative Force program. This collaboration, will provide significant support to creative and cultural initiatives in Kosovo over the next five years, and will aim to elevate the cultural and educational landscape in Kosovo through cinema and creative arts.
STORIES WE TELL
DokuFest’s newest project, “STORIES WE TELL,” funded by “SMART Balkans,” aims to utilize audio-visual media to encourage dialogue and understanding among young people from diverse communities in Kosovo. Young individuals aged 18-25, during three different camps, will engage in workshops and discussions focusing on promoting mutual respect and understanding. They will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences, aiming to positively influence each other and challenge negative perspectives shaped by media and societal views.
CONNECTING DOTS: EXPLORING SHARED FILM HERITAGE
Following several informal program collaborations DokuFest and Beldocs through this project embark on a strategic partnership as two leading documentary film festivals in the Western Balkans.

DokuLab
DokuFest’s educational department DokuLab manages the FilmProduction Centre for Youth and empowers teachers in use of audiovisual tools in classroom in conjunction with traditional methods for deeper understanding of complex issues and promotion of social development of youth.
