Multimedia exhibition "How Do I See You?" is opened

Today, the multimedia exhibition “How Do I See You?” officially opened at the NGO Habu. This exhibit showcases the artistic reflections of young people coming together from Kosovo and Serbia. The exhibition is part of the same-named project and includes video interviews called “In Pairs,” followed by video clips titled “Biographies of Objects,” along with photos made within the project’s mobility and cultural exchange.

The exhibition was opened by Dirk Lorenc, leader of the Political Section of the European Union Delegation to Serbia. He said, “I’m honored to open this exhibition and meet so many bright young people from Serbia and Kosovo. This project is
important for improving relations between the two nations.” Lorenc added that young people must come together to better understand each other.

Veran Matić, President of the Board of Directors of Fond B92, said he’s happy that Fond B92, the Free Zone Festival, and DokuFest are working together on this project. He included how important it is for young people in the area, especially from Serbia and Kosovo, to connect. Matić added, “These amazing young people are the ones who will make a better future.”

Meanwhile, Rajko Petrović, Director of the Free Zone Film Festival, mentioned that projects like this aim to introduce the younger generations born after the war. He found it encouraging that these young people share an interest in popular culture and have similar values.

Projects like this one are proof that young people can work together and that they are the ones able to break the prejudices between two nations,” said Zana Arapi, project coordinator of DokuFest.

This grant is funded by the European Union and implemented by DokuFest and Foundation Fund B92
