KOSOVO INNOVATION SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION PROJECT +

Project aims to promote reconciliation between communities via civic engagement; support resilient local communities that prevent radicalization/ violent extremism and promoting early warning / early action on a local level; advance in promotion of digital literacy for educational purposes to help curb hate-speech and create an inclusive environment between local communities through meaningful exchange on the topics of inequality, human rights, and democratic values, thus increase critical and active participation in civic life and boost resilience through exchange of opinions, media and information literacy and most importantly discovering common goals and reflecting their thoughts.

The project aims to foster creation of independent forums for discussion and exchange of ideas for teens in addressing fake news and disinformation through: · Creation of a collaborative and co-working environment for civic education of teens from different ethnic background, · Elaborating and developing project activities based on the basic principles and strategies for inclusiveness and participation in communities, · Advancing the promotion of digital literacy for teens and local communities and skill building for resilience, · Building digital skills of pedagogical workers and community leaders to help youth develop resilience to identify and resist extremist narratives, hate-speech and to acquire socio-emotional skills to engage constructively in society without having to resort to violence. Project activities take place at Prizren, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Lipjan, Obiliq, Suharekë, Vitia, Podujevë, Dragash and Kamenicë.

These have helped me to professionally engage at the Media Center of Jacobs University in Germany, where I have been creating multimedia content for scientific communication for the last two years."
