DokuFest completes its second training under the Yess project

DokuFest, has completed the second training as part of the YESS – Youth Engaged in Storytelling for Social Impact project. In this phase, students from various schools developed 10 film projects, progressing from the initial idea to the filming stage.

Following the first training, where students learned about storytelling and the basics of filmmaking, the second training focused on practical work. They worked in groups to develop their stories, transform them into scripts, and begin filming.

Currently, the projects are in the editing phase, with ongoing work to finalize the films. At the same time, a making-of video is being prepared to document the creation process of these 10 film projects — from the first moment to the final stages of completion.

This training marks an important step for young people interested in learning how to tell stories through film and use this medium to express the realities that surround them.

"Educational films serve as key tools to inspire change and promote intercultural dialogue in schools. They offer a unique opportunity for students to develop critical thinking skills, increase awareness about social and cultural issues, and encourage a more open and inclusive approach to learning. Through their powerful themes and impactful narratives, these educational films are rich resources that support innovative teaching and contribute to building a more informed, conscious, and democratic society."
