WRAPPING UP THE SUMMER SCHOOL WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE KIST PROJECT

The summer school is over and it was a total blast. It started on 25th of July 2022 at Innovation Training Park (ITP) for 4 days, as the initiatory event of the KIST, where students and teachers were provided the opportunity to evaluate concepts related to digital education so they would be prepared to deal with false information and fake news. Thanks to our enthusiastic attendees, our facilitators, Alban Zeneli, Valon Canhasi, Zgjim Terziqi and Martina Kabashi were left with a big smile on their faces. The making of stop-motion animations was one of several educational activities planned for the summer school that will affect the students' personal and professional growth. When tackling today's difficulties, their understanding of how to use digital platforms will complement their critical thinking abilities and civic engagement. This summer school focused on digital literacy for educational purposes, and it was organized as an integral part of the DokuKids program of the 22nd Edition of DokuFest. The project is financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo and implemented by Dokufest and the Center for Education of Kosovo.
