Married and a father of two, he leaves his family in the countryside and goes to finish university in Prishtina alone. The war in Kosovo catches him unprepared as he cannot unite with his family again. He manages to go to Skopje and try to contact them but as months pass by he hears nothing but the ringing tone. Isolated, the only thing that keeps his mind in place is a pen and a notebook.
