The Film Camp will commence on 4 January and will be led by Kosovar filmmaker

Veton Nurkollari of DokuFest will provide a quick survey of the historical development of the nonfiction film, beginning from the 19th century to the present day through an interactive discussion accompanied by several film clips.
A Swiss-Albanian director-producer
Dea Gjinovci will be joining our film school as a lecturer on research in documentary filmmaking.
Samir Ljuma, an acclaimed Cinematographer and producer, who´s focus is on capturing human behavior, intimate relations and authentic interaction, will focus on Aesthetics in Documentary Film-making.

Samir Karahoda will provide an hands-on training on practical use of camera. He will screen his award winning short film ‘IN BETWEEN’ and will provide an opportunity for film students to discuss his filmmaking process in an exclusive Q&A session.
Filmmaker
Thomas Logoreci who co-wrote a feature-length essay documentary about Albania, Here Be Dragons, with acclaimed Irish filmmaker Mark Cousins will cover the ‘Ethics in Documentary Filmmaking, while acclaimed editor Jelena Maksimović will join online to talk about the process of editing in documentary filmmaking.
Why sound and sound design are just AS important in documentary filmmaking – and the ways to approach it will be coached by
Pëllumb Ballata.

Leart Rama will deliver two masterclasses.
More Raça will present her work in progress ‘Home is where the films are’ a feature documentary in the making about the power of film to help children overcome trauma.
Leart is a DokuFest Film School Alumni who focuses on the explorations of human emotions in cinema. He will be presenting his award-winning documentary “STACIONI”, a story told from the “Fly on the Wall” perspective.
The Film Camp will be organized in a hybrid form with physical and followed virtual events. DokuFest will ensure safe physical distancing for all participants and lecturers by providing spacious venue for all and throughout all activities.
