ANNOUNCING NEW DOKUFEST INITIATIVE: STORIES WE TELL
Our constant initiatives that foster creativity and independent thinking through film and audio-visuals, is now enriched with our latest project “Stories We Tell”, supported by the “SMART Balkans – Civil society for shared society in the Western Balkans” project financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Stories We Tell” is an initiative dedicated for young people aged 18-25 who are eager to make a difference in Kosovo and who believe in the power of stories that challenge stereotypes and inspire change.
On 8th November, we're opening the call for applications for the first intercultural camp, that will help successful applicants to craft compelling video portraits, and immerse in exchanges that transcend mere dialogue. The project provides an opportunity for youth from all communities to be part of a movement that aims to bridge divides, challenge misinformation, and amplify their voices.
DokuFest has always been at the forefront of utilizing audio-visual tools to spark discussions on pressing issues like inequality, human rights, and democratic values. With “Stories We Tell”, we're taking it a step further, focusing on the vibrant and diverse youth of Kosovo. Let's come together, share our narratives, and create a ripple effect of positive change in our communities.
Stay tuned for announcement of the call for application to our websites, www.dokufest.com and www.dokufest-lab.com, and our social media channels.
