AT DOKUFEST, MULTIMEDIA EXHIBITION OF "HOW DO I SEE YOU"

The multimedia exhibition of the project HOW DO I SEE YOU?

Yesterday, in the Shani Efendi's house, a multimedia exhibition of the project "How Do I See You?" was held, this project is financed by the EU office in Kosovo, which is implemented by DokuFest in partnership with the B91 Fund and Slobodna Zona, which aims to bring together young people from Kosovo and Serbia, so that they spend time together in Intercultural Camps to get to know and spend time with each other and to understand that the media and harsh narratives in both countries they are not what they seem, but the reality is much different. The exhibition was a compilation of video interviews of project participants from the March Intercultural Camp in Kosovo with 14 participants in total from Kosovo and Serbia. Invited to the exhibition, in addition to the participants of the project from Kosovo and Serbia, who besides others have and will attend various panels and master-classes during DokuFest, was also Hillen Francke from the EU office in Kosovo, where during the opening of the exhibition he gave a speech together with the executive director of DokuFest, Linda Llulla-Gashi, the project manager in Kosovo Zana Arapi-Xheladini and the project manager in Serbia Maja Cecen. All speakers emphasized the need for investment in such projects for young people and the role of culture for reconciliation between the two countries. The exhibition is the third of its kind for this project and it is expected that after the Intercultural Camp in September in Serbia, the fourth exhibition will be held during the Slobodna Zona festival in Belgrade.
