OPEN CALL FOR THE FOURTH INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE CAMP
DokuFest, Slobodna Zona Film Festival and Slobodna Zona Junior invite young people aged 18 to 25 from Serbia and Kosovo to be part of the HOW DO I SEE YOU project. The groundbreaking initiative set to merge the gap between Kosovo and Serbian youth, has opened yet another call for its fourth camp which will be taking place in Prizren.
This meaningful experience has the magnitude to impact centuries-long disputes through creative collaboration and group work, such as the production of audio-visual content that will feature them interviewing each other. In addition, this Cultural Exchange Program involves active participation in lectures and discussions, cultural visits to heritage sites, development of media and film literacy as a means to discover common goals, problems, and experiences.
The study visit is planned from September 10 to 17, when the participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with various cultural centers, art, and other civil society organizations operating in Prizren, Gjakova, Peja, and Prishtina. The program is completely free, and the costs of travel, food, and accommodation will be covered by the organizers.
Prerequisites for participation in the program are the appropriate age (18 to 25 years), motivation for creative exchange and networking, desire to meet peers of similar interests from Serbia and Kosovo, good mood, and good knowledge of English.
