CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - TEACHERS WORKSHOP
In our restless pursuit to apply innovative teaching methods through the use of film in education, we’re coming to you with another Teacher’s Workshop, being held from the 4th through the 5th of June, in Prizren.
The Workshop is aimed at teachers of Languages and Communication, Arts, Society and the Environment, and Civic Education courses levels 5 and 6 (grades X-XII).
If you are someone that teaches the above-mentioned classes and want to maximize learning outcomes through the application of the extraordinary medium of film as part of your class curriculum, we encourage you to apply by the 27th of May, midnight.
What does the workshop entail?
The Workshop is set to improve education by training high-school teachers throughout Kosovo on how to implement film in their class curriculum in conjunction with traditional methods.
The workshops are part of the educational program of DokuFest, embedded within the DokuLab program that provides didactic materials mainly through the open-source Teacher’s Digital Library.
These didactic materials involve themes on Gender-Based Violence, Human Rights and Promotion of Democratic Values, Media Literacy, Prevention of Radicalization and Violent Extremism, Environment and Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Education for Returnees and Marginalized Communities.
Education on topics such as the above mentioned ensures a deeper understanding of complex issues and the much-needed promotion of social development.
The selection of teachers shall be done through the evaluation of applications. Please apply by May 27, 2022 using this form:
