'HOW DO I SEE YOU?' TRAINING CAMP

DokuFest in partnership with Fond B92 and Free Zone Film Festival through ‘How Do I See You Project’ aims to create an opportunity for youth from Kosovo and Serbia to engage in a meaningful exchange that goes beyond the dialogue.

The second group of youth from Kosovo and Serbia joined the first Training Camp of the project 'How Do I See You' that aims to foster tolerance, understanding, and inter-cultural literacy among youngsters in Serbia and Kosovo through this project that is based on mutual respect and understanding for intercultural expression of youth to address prejudices and media narratives. The first Training Camp for the second group was facilitated by the project team and it allowed nine participants from Kosovo to get familiarized with the project goals and had an opportunity to express their creativity through practical exercises in the creation of one of the most fundamental approaches to making cinema: Lumiere Minute. The participants have been tasked to create a two-minute Visual Self Portrait that will be presented in an event where participants from Kosovo will be meeting for the first time their peers from Serbia. The joint meeting is scheduled to be held online on 14 and 15 April, as an event for intercultural research and exchange of opinions, media and information literacy and most importantly discovering common goals and reflecting their thoughts at the end of the camp through curated interviews enabling them to express their views on how are they seeing their peers.
