'FUTURE IS HERE' LOCAL PREMIERE

As we missed the opportunity last summer to screen the films of our film students during the festival at our landmark 'Riverbed' Cinema, we organized a Cinema screening of eight films that were produced during 2020. This was also the first opportunity for the local audiences to meet young filmmakers and engage with them in an extended Q&A session to discuss the topic of their films and their motivation to tell these stories.

These films, under the guidance of Blerta Zeqiri and Andrijana Stojkovic were created by Nazmi Latifi, Albulena Kurti, Anisa Krasniqi, Bardha Kryeziu, Vlera Azizi, Endri Maloku, Lum Borovci, Ideal Nrecaj, Freskim Nrecaj, Vlera Haxhibeqiri, Maxhid Rruka, Vlera Dani, Elsa Mala, Jon Nila.

DokuFest’s educational department DokuLab manages the FilmProduction Centre for Youth and empowers teachers in use of audiovisual tools in classroom in conjunction with traditional methods for deeper understanding of complex issues and promotion of social development of youth.
