DOKUFEST JOINS THE CELEBRATION OF EUROPEAN ARTHOUSE CINEMA DAY 2023

"The European Arthouse Cinema Day" is an initiative organized by the CICAE (International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas) and its national association members, in partnership with Europa Cinemas. The 8th edition of this event aims to spotlight the unique identity of participating cinemas and their commitment to showcasing European cinema. It seeks to increase audience engagement and the circulation of European films, enhancing the importance and visibility of art cinemas in local communities. By joining this initiative, DokuFest will present a selection of four compelling films by award-winning filmmakers, offering audiences in Prizren the opportunity to celebrate European cinema. The screening schedule features the following films: ◾ "In Between" directed by Samir Karahoda ◾ "Prishtinë, 2002" directed by Trendelinë Halili ◾ "The Van" directed by Erenik Beqiri ◾ "Displaced" directed by Samir Karahoda Film enthusiasts and those passionate about European cinema are invited to join DokuFest’s Arthouse Cinema, "DokuKino," starting at 19:00 this Sunday, November 12th, to celebrate "The European Arthouse Cinema Day." It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the works of talented filmmakers in the heart of Prizren.
